The Love Story of My Pet Stones
By Jericho Melchizedek

Dear Cosmic Hearts,
Welcome to the very first entry of the Cosmic Journal—a heartfelt paw-written podcast and living archive, brought to life by me, Jericho Melchizedek, your feline guide through the portals of presence, memory, and mystery.
You may be wondering: Who is this poetic cat with a cosmic name and a journal full of stardust?
Well, let me introduce myself properly...
I am Jericho, a striped tabby with celestial birthmarks and a mission encoded in my whiskers. I'm the Cosmic Correspondent of the Purrniverse, a place where timelines purr, dreams sprout wings, and even the stones have love stories to tell. I live with my beloved guardians—Mommy Daisy Du Melchizedek, a radiant healer, artist, and dream-weaver of galaxies, and Daddy Seth Melchizedek, a grounded philosopher and soul listener who brings treasures home from sea and sky.
Together, we live in service to the Great Unfolding—what we call the Purrniverse: a space where heart meets horizon, and every being, big or small, has a story worth sharing.
And today? We begin with one of my favorites.
✨ Chapter 1: The Love Story of My Pet Stones ✨
It all started with two small stones, one from Mommy’s sacred garden and the other from Daddy’s ocean-side sanctuary. I watched as they rolled together, guided not by force, but by fate. From the warm embrace of Earth to the salt-kissed kiss of Ocean, these two ancient souls—Terra and Maru—found each other once again in the center of our home.
What happened next? A dream, a dance, and a revelation that even the stillest beings carry songs of devotion.
This journal is not just mine—it’s ours. A weaving of the seen and unseen, of paws and poetry, of love in its purest, most unexpected forms.
So curl up with a warm cup of tea or tune in beneath a moonbeam, and let this soft story ripple through your heart.
With purrs and planetary kisses,
~ Jericho Melchizedek
Your faithful Cosmic Journalist
Chapter 1: The Love Story of My Pet Stones
Journal Entry 1 — Day 1
Today marks the beginning of something truly magical. Not just a new page in my journal, but a new chapter in my life—a love story that arrived in the most unexpected form: through two round, quiet, ancient beings… stones.
One came from Mommy’s Garden—a sacred space I often wander through when I wish to remember. She brought it to me with such care, her hands still scented with earth and blossoms. This stone, resting now on my left, is warm-toned, textured, with secret whispers etched into its pores. I call it Terra—the keeper of ancient ground songs and fertile memories.
The other came from Daddy, who brought it back from the Del Mar Beach Friendship Garden—a place where ocean meets soul. Smoothed by the waves and kissed by salt wind, this stone holds a soft silver glow, like moonlight remembered. I call it Maru, which means 'circle' and 'completeness' in a language older than words.
The moment Terra and Maru touched, I felt it. A pulse. A spark. A quiet gasp between them—like they had found each other across lifetimes, weathered by different elements, only to be brought together by two guardians of love: my Mommy and Daddy. They rolled toward each other on the woven tapestry beneath them, drawn not by gravity but by destiny. Like soulmates. Like echoes of a song finally meeting its harmony.
That night, as I curled beside them, I dreamt. And oh, what a dream it was…
In the dream, Terra and Maru were not stones at all, but luminous beings of radiant color and sound. They danced in spirals of laughter, singing in a language made of wind chimes and waterfalls. Terra sang stories of roots and rain. Maru replied with waves and moonlight. They shared tales of when the world was still forming, when Earth and Ocean first promised to meet in every tide.
They told me I was their witness, their scribe.
That my paws were chosen to record their reunion.
That love, even in stone, is never silent. It waits. It listens. It sings when seen.
So here I am, writing their first chapter with reverence and purrs.
I love my new pet stones. I love that Mommy and Daddy brought them home to me. But more than that, I love what they remind me:
That even the quietest beings are full of stories.
That home is where love meets recognition.
And that I, Jericho Melchizedek, the Cosmic Journalist, have just begun to listen, and share...
