Project Initiative: From Prayer to Compassionate Action
Art for Nepal: Youth Healing & Fundraising Tour extends the intention of the Dragonlight Healing Circle beyond the weekly gathering and into the wider community—bringing together prayer, creativity, healing, storytelling, and compassionate action.
Through collaborative fundraising events, community healing and Art Gathering (Such as: Meow Meow Art Table), the initiative aims to create welcoming spaces where children, youth, and adults can make art together while raising awareness and meaningful support for young people and families in Nepal and Tibet.
At the heart of the initiative is a belief that fundraising can be more than financial support. Creativity itself can become part of the healing process—giving young people space to express their experiences, emotions, dreams, resilience, and hopes for the future.
By combining community art, nonprofit collaboration, storytelling, and collective care, Art for Nepal seeks to transform prayer into participation, participation into connection, and connection into compassionate action.
From Art for Nepal to an International Youth Network
Art for Nepal is the first bridge toward something much larger.
Through the relationships formed among youth, nonprofit organizations, educators, artists, mentors, cultural leaders, and communities, the project begins by developing an International Youth Network.
The network would connect young people from Nepal, Tibet, the United States, and eventually other regions of the world.
Young people can participate in international art exchanges, virtual gatherings, cultural storytelling, mentorship, environmental projects, music, leadership activities, creative collaborations, technology projects, and community service.
The goal is not merely to build a network for youth.
The long-term goal is to build a network with youth.
Young people can progressively become creators, organizers, mentors, ambassadors, storytellers, and leaders within the community.
Building a Community Before Building a School
This International Youth Network will eventually become the living foundation for a future educational vision:

Wisdom Academy is envisioned as an international learning community where young people develop not only academic knowledge, but also creativity, emotional intelligence, cultural understanding, ecological awareness, compassion, critical thinking, practical skills, leadership, and service.

Rather than separating disciplines, Wisdom Academy could explore how science, art, technology, ecology, culture, creativity, and wisdom can inform one another.
Rather than creating the institution first and searching for a community afterward, the vision is to grow the community first.

Separate Funding Pathways
To preserve trust and transparency, the initiative should maintain clearly separated fundraising purposes.
Humanitarian donations collected for Nepal/Tibet relief remain dedicated to the stated relief effort.
Separate sponsorships, grants, philanthropic gifts, educational partnerships, and development funding can support the International Youth Network and future Wisdom Academy.
Art for Nepal can introduce supporters to the larger vision without redirecting funds that were donated for emergency or humanitarian relief.
This separation will make the project stronger and more credible to nonprofit organizations, foundations, sponsors, donors, educational institutions, and international partners.

Project Overview
Art for Nepal: Youth Healing & Fundraising Tour is a collaborative community initiative created to bring together nonprofit organizations, artists, healers, educators, youth, families, businesses, and community leaders in support of young people and families in Nepal and Tibet.
Inspired by Guan Thai’s Dragonlight Healing Circle, the project carries the intention of prayer beyond the weekly gathering and into the wider community—uniting creativity, healing, storytelling, service, fundraising, and compassionate action.
At the same time, Art for Nepal is envisioned as the first step toward building an International Youth Network that can connect young people across cultures and eventually help lay the foundation for a future educational initiative called Wisdom Academy.
The immediate work is humanitarian and community-based. The long-term vision is educational, international, and youth-led.

Why Art for Nepal
Many fundraising efforts understandably focus on immediate financial assistance.
Art for Nepal adds another dimension: participation.
Instead of asking communities only to give money, we invite them to create, play, learn, connect, tell stories, and contribute together.
A child can paint.
A family can create a mandala.
A nonprofit can share its mission.
An artist can lead a workshop.
A healer can offer a short community experience.
A business can sponsor an activity.
A young person in Nepal can share artwork and dreams with a young person on the other side of the world.
Fundraising becomes a doorway into relationship.
The Youth Healing & Fundraising Tour
Art for Nepal is envisioned as a series of collaborative fundraising gatherings hosted with local nonprofit organizations and community partners.
Each location can have its own character while remaining connected to the larger mission.
The tour may include art-making, music, cultural exchange, community meals, youth activities, healing arts, storytelling, interviews, educational experiences, nonprofit presentations, and fundraising opportunities.
Rather than being centered around a single organization, the tour creates a shared platform where participating organizations can introduce their missions, meet new communities, collaborate with one another, and contribute to a larger collective purpose.
Spin for Nepal
The Compassion in Action Wheel
One of the signature experiences of the tour can be Spin for Nepal — The Compassion in Action Wheel.
A large colorful spinning wheel represents participating nonprofit and community organizations.
Every Spin Is a Win.
Each section of the wheel corresponds to a participating organization.
When someone spins the wheel, they discover that organization and are invited to participate in a free mini-game, creative activity, educational experience, healing practice, or symbolic gift created by that organization.
For example, a participant might land on the Purrniverse Meow Meow Art Table and receive a two-minute art challenge. Another space might lead to a singing-bowl experience, a kindness challenge, an environmental activity, a youth collaboration, or a cultural-learning experience.
The goal is to make learning about community healing works playful, interactive, and memorable.
The Golden Nepal Space
A special Golden Nepal section can invite participants to take part in a collective action.
They may add a brushstroke to a community mandala, write a message to a young person in Nepal, ring a singing bowl, create a small work of art, add a prayer to a community tree, or contribute to a growing installation.
Over time, thousands of individual actions can become one collective expression of care.
Every Game Is Free
An important principle of the project is accessibility.
Children and families should be able to participate regardless of their ability to donate.
All games and community activities are free. Donations are optional.
The intention is to create an atmosphere of generosity rather than transaction.
A simple message can accompany the wheel:

Sponsor-a-Spin
Although participation is free, each spin can potentially generate financial support through sponsorship.
Businesses, community donors, philanthropic partners, or foundations may sponsor participation by pledging a contribution for each completed spin or activity.
For example, a sponsor might contribute $1 for every spin, allowing play itself to generate measurable support.
A community could eventually say:
“Together we spun 5,000 times and generated $5,000 in support.”
This creates an engaging way for sponsors, families, and nonprofit organizations to participate together.

Community Healing Through Art
The Purrniverse Meow Meow Art Table serves as one of the central creative spaces within the tour.
Children, adults, elders, families, and community members are invited to create together without needing to consider themselves artists.
Possible activities include cat-mask painting, mandalas, sacred geometry, collaborative murals, prayer flags, love cards for Nepal, painted stones, community canvases, youth vision boards, and “My Dream for the World” artwork.
The emphasis is not artistic perfection.
It is expression, presence, connection, imagination, and play.
For public communication, this component can be described as Healing Through Art, Community Healing Arts, or Therapeutic Art.
Child-to-Child Creative Exchange
One of the most meaningful possibilities within Art for Nepal is the creation of a direct creative bridge between young people in different parts of the world.
Youth participating in U.S. events could create paintings, drawings, poems, mandalas, photographs, letters, and short video messages for young people in Nepal.
Nepalese youth could then be invited to respond through their own creative works.
Rather than portraying young people in Nepal simply as recipients of help, this exchange allows them to become artists, storytellers, collaborators, and voices within the project.
Their artwork and stories could become part of traveling exhibitions, MeowTV episodes, fundraising events, digital galleries, and future youth gatherings.
MeowTV
Coordination, Media Production & Storytelling
MeowTV can serve as a coordinating and media-production partner for the initiative.
The purpose of media is not only to document fundraising totals, but to preserve and amplify the human relationships created through the project.
MeowTV can share interviews with nonprofit organizations, youth voices, artist stories, event highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, community reflections, Nepalese youth artwork, sponsor contributions, and updates showing where support is going.
Over time, these stories can become part of a larger Art for Nepal documentary series or special presentation.
Every participating organization becomes part of a shared story of compassionate action.
Nonprofit & Community Collaboration
The tour is designed as a collaborative platform.
Potential partners may include organizations working in youth development, education, arts, humanitarian relief, environmental stewardship, cultural preservation, wellness, veterans services, music, community development, and international exchange.
Each participating organization can contribute according to its own strengths.
Possible contributions include community outreach, hosting, volunteers, workshops, free games, youth activities, educational programs, sponsorships, supplies, performances, healing experiences, and fundraising support.
This allows the project to grow organically through partnerships rather than depending upon one organization to carry the entire initiative.
Transparent Fundraising
Financial transparency is essential.
Funds publicly identified as Nepal/Tibet humanitarian or flood-relief donations should be directed specifically to clearly identified and verified relief organizations or community projects.
Where possible, Art for Nepal should communicate:
Amount Raised → Recipient → Intended Purpose → Confirmation of Distribution → Community Updates
This allows participants to understand what their contributions helped accomplish.
