Ten creatures. Ten songs. Ten invitations to listen differently.

What if a children’s album could be more than something we listen to?

What if it could become a little doorway into curiosity, presence, boundaries, play, belonging, rest, and the strange joy of discovering who we already are?

This is the heart of Tuning In, a new Purrniverse Animal Wisdom album.

The journey begins beside the ocean.

A kitten hears something beneath the waves:

Mmm-meow…
Mrrr-meow…
Prrrrrrrrr…

Listen.

The ocean is purring.

And then the dolphins arrive.

Porpoise & Purrpose

The opening song, “Porpoise & Purrpose: The Art of Tuning In,” introduces the question that quietly travels through the entire album:

What happens when we stop trying so hard to find our place in life—and begin listening?

In the song, the Cosmic Cats think their “purrpose” must be somewhere ahead of them.

Perhaps it is a destination.

A treasure.

A message.

A sign.

So naturally, they go looking for it.

But a pair of playful dolphins lead them somewhere unexpected.

Not toward an answer, but toward a frequency.

A rhythm.

A song already moving beneath everything.

And eventually the ocean offers a different possibility:

You don’t chase the song. You tune into it.

That idea became the doorway into the rest of the album.

Ten Animals, Ten Ways of Tuning In

Each creature in Tuning In carries a different kind of wisdom.

The Axolotl asks questions and reminds us that “I don’t know yet” can be the beginning of discovery.

The Turtle teaches us that there is no universal speed at which a life must unfold.

The Hedgehog discovers that a tender heart can still have clear boundaries.

The Koala reminds us that life is not an audition and that nobody else can perform our particular version of being alive.

The Alpaca helps us unpack the invisible backpacks filled with old worries, expectations, and imaginary tomorrows.

The Sloth introduces the radical possibility that rest is not an interruption of life. Rest belongs to life’s rhythm.

The Bee shows us that we don’t have to create the entire meadow. One little contribution can participate in something much larger.

The Otter reminds us to hold paws, keep our funny little treasures, and never become so serious that we forget how to splash.

And finally, Jericho and Squealer discover that friendship doesn’t require two creatures to make the same sound.

One can say:

MEOW.

Another can say:

SQUEAK.

And somehow, together, they find the beat.

Why So Much Meowing?

Throughout the album, ordinary lyrics tumble into purrs, squeaks, chirps, bloops, buzzing, dolphin calls, and playful streams of Purrniverse light-language:

Miao miao luma,
mimi naya ree,
purr-a-luma,
meow-a-mee…

These sounds aren’t intended to require translation.

They are invitations to participate.

A child doesn’t have to understand every word before singing.

A toddler doesn’t need a theory of music before dancing.

A cat certainly doesn’t wait for permission before purring.

Sound comes before explanation.

Play comes before perfection.

Sometimes connection begins before language.

That is part of what Tuning In celebrates.

Wisdom Doesn’t Always Have to Sound Serious

Children encounter enormous questions.

Who am I?

Where do I belong?

What happens when I make a mistake?

Can I say no?

Why am I different?

Do I have to hurry?

Does my little contribution matter?

What is my purpose?

Adults wrestle with many of the same questions.

We simply learn to use larger words for them.

Tuning In approaches these questions through humor rather than heaviness.

A koala explains that perhaps you don’t need a new destiny—you may simply need lunch.

An alpaca tells Kitty to “unpack-a.”

A sloth wins the philosophy division of a race by barely participating.

A hedgehog establishes an extremely important boundary concerning snacks.

An otter responds to existential seriousness by sliding down a muddy riverbank.

And a dolphin suggests that perhaps “purrpose” was never something we needed to chase in the first place.

Behind the silliness is something I care deeply about:

Wisdom can be gentle.

It can be funny.

It can squeak.

It can buzz.

It can splash.

And occasionally, it can simply say:

Meow.

Perhaps this is ultimately what these animals are teaching.

Tuning in doesn’t mean having all the answers.

It means becoming quiet enough to hear the next question.

It means noticing when your body asks for rest.

Recognizing when your heart says yes.

Respecting when it says no.

Knowing when to carry something forward and when to put it down.

Finding your own rhythm without demanding that everyone else walk at the same speed.

Offering your little contribution without believing you must carry the entire hive.

Playing without needing to justify the usefulness of joy.

And listening closely enough to recognize another creature’s song—even when it sounds nothing like yours.

Maybe our “purrpose” isn’t always a grand destination waiting somewhere in the future.

Maybe sometimes it is much smaller.

A paw print in the sand.

A question.

A boundary.

A nap.

A song.

A friend.

A ridiculous dance.

A moment when we suddenly realize:

Oh. I’m here.

And perhaps that is enough to begin.

Mmm-meow…

Himalayan Sound Healing Certification

The foundation of Sacred Resonance is an immersive exploration of Himalayan singing bowls, sound, vibration, listening, and contemplative practice.

Participants will have opportunities for guided, hands-on learning rather than simply observing demonstrations.

Training may include:

The first lesson, however, is not how to strike a bowl.

The first lesson is how to listen.

Before creating sound for another person, we learn to become present with sound ourselves.

We listen to its beginning.

Its expansion.

Its vibration.

Its fading.

And eventually—

its return to silence.

Sound is experiential.

It cannot be fully understood from a book or lecture.

Throughout the certification journey, participants will have opportunities to hold, play, hear, and experience Himalayan singing bowls directly.

The intention is not simply to produce beautiful sounds.

Opening the Sacred Journey

Our journey begins intentionally.

Subject to final monastery arrangements, the opening of the pilgrimage is intended to include a blessing offered by a revered monastic practitioner associated with a local monastery.

Depending upon the monastery’s traditions and arrangements, the blessing may involve prayer, chanting, offerings, or other customary practices.

We enter not as owners of these traditions, but as respectful guests.

Before beginning, participants are invited to consider:

Sacred Geometry Painting

For participants called toward sacred art, the first 12-day pathway extends the Sound Healing Certification into the contemplative world of Thangka painting.

Thangka is a traditional Himalayan Buddhist art form with important Nepali and Tibetan traditions. Its imagery may include Buddhas, bodhisattvas, mandalas, teachers, deities, and other sacred subjects.

Its creation requires extraordinary patience, precision, concentration, proportion, symbolism, and attention.

During our Thangka experience, participants may explore:

• Sacred geometry

• Traditional composition

• Symbolism and meaning

• Traditional painting techniques

• Color

• Pigments

• Fine brushwork

• Contemplative creation

• Guided creation of a Thangka artwork

The intention is to learn from local teachers and practitioners who carry knowledge of this artistic tradition.

Why combine Thangka Art with Sound Healing?

Because one asks us to listen.

This experience brings the journey beyond temples and classrooms and into another dimension of Nepal’s living landscape.

The intention is not to make elephants perform or to force a response to sound.

Quite the opposite.

We practice listening.

We observe.

We become quiet.

We notice another living being without needing to control the encounter.

Where permitted by the participating sanctuary and elephant-care professionals, the experience may incorporate gentle sound, singing bowls, humming, meditation, or contemplative listening at an appropriate distance.

All interaction should remain subject to the sanctuary’s animal-welfare practices and professional guidance.

The elephant does not need to become our student.

Perhaps, for a moment,

we become the elephant’s student.

Set within the extraordinary spiritual and natural landscape of Nepal, this journey is designed as more than a conventional retreat. It is an invitation to enter sacred space with humility: to learn, to listen, to create, and to return home carrying practices that can continue unfolding long after the pilgrimage has ended.

At the heart of the journey are two complementary paths:

The Path of Sound — listening, vibration, resonance, singing bowls, voice, presence, and experiential sound-healing practice.

Opening the Sacred Journey

Our pilgrimage begins ceremonially.

Rather than arriving in Nepal and immediately beginning classes, participants are invited first to cross a symbolic threshold from ordinary time into retreat time.

The group gathers in sacred community to establish intentions for the twelve days ahead.

As planned, the opening of the pilgrimage will include a blessing offered by a revered monastic practitioner associated with a local monastery. The blessing creates a contemplative beginning for the journey and may include traditional prayers, chants, offerings, or other elements appropriate to the monastery’s customs.

We enter this ceremony not as owners of a tradition, but as respectful guests.

Participants are encouraged to bring a personal intention:

What am I ready to listen to?

What am I ready to learn?

What am I ready to offer?

From this opening blessing, the pilgrimage begins.

Learning From Living Tradition

One of the special dimensions of this Nepal experience is the opportunity to learn in the place where Himalayan sacred arts and contemplative traditions remain part of living culture.

The sound-healing portion is intended to be taught by an experienced local teacher whose knowledge has been developed through sustained study and practice within an established teaching lineage.

Rather than presenting Himalayan sound practices as simply another modern wellness technique, the retreat will honor the teachers, communities, cultural context, and generations through which these practices have been preserved.

Once the teacher and lineage are formally confirmed, their biography, teachers, training history, and lineage information will be included in the official retreat materials.

This distinction matters.

We want participants not only to learn how to make sound, but to understand the importance of listening, responsibility, respect, and relationship.

Four-Day Sound Healing Certification Journey

Four days of the 12-day pilgrimage are dedicated to immersive sound-healing education and hands-on practice.

Participants move progressively from receiving sound to understanding instruments, creating sound intentionally, practicing with one another, and developing the confidence to facilitate foundational sound experiences.

Hands-On Healing Workshop

Sound cannot truly be learned only through a book.

Participants therefore work directly with instruments and with one another in supervised experiential sessions.

Depending upon the final curriculum established by the teacher, practical training may include:

• Working with rhythm and intervals

• Creating transitions between silence and sound

Sound, Nature & the Elephant Experience

One of the most memorable chapters of the pilgrimage is envisioned as an encounter between sound, nature, awareness, and elephants.

During the wildlife and elephant portion of the journey, participants move beyond the classroom and explore what it means to listen in the presence of another living being.

Rather than treating elephants as props for a healing activity, the experience should be developed in cooperation with the participating sanctuary or wildlife professionals, with animal welfare determining what interaction is appropriate.

Where permitted by elephant-care professionals, participants may experience gentle sound, humming, bowls, or contemplative listening at an appropriate distance while observing the elephants’ natural responses.

There is nothing the elephant needs to perform.

There is nothing we need to make happen.

We listen.

We observe.

We become quiet enough to notice.

The experience becomes a meditation on interconnection and respectful coexistence.

During the retreat, there will be periods when conversation gives way to quiet creation.

Sacred Nepal

The pilgrimage extends beyond the retreat room.

The current journey includes ground transportation and guided visits to UNESCO Heritage sites, allowing participants to encounter Nepal’s extraordinary architecture, sacred spaces, art, history, and living culture.

Additional experiences may be incorporated as partnerships are finalized, including visits with traditional artists, monasteries, sacred sites, local craftspeople, singing-bowl makers, pigment makers, gardens, and cultural teachers.

These excursions are not simply sightseeing.

They become part of the curriculum.

A temple teaches proportion.

Toward the conclusion of the pilgrimage, participants bring their individual creations together.

Each person’s mandala is unique.

Yet when placed beside the others, another pattern becomes visible.

Individual transformation and collective harmony do not need to be opposites.

Every person contributes a different color.

The Closing Blessing

The journey that begins with blessing also closes with blessing.

At the completion of the pilgrimage, participants return to ceremonial space with their artwork, their experiences, their sound practices, and the memories gathered throughout Nepal.

A closing blessing is planned with a revered monastic practitioner of the monastery, honoring the completion of the journey according to the customs and availability of the participating monastic community.

The closing is not intended to say:

“The journey is finished.”

Instead, it asks:

“How will you carry the journey home?”

The sound eventually becomes silence.

The brush eventually leaves the canvas.

Luna Dais is a San Diego veteran-led creative collective creating music, stories, and imaginative learning experiences for future generations. In a San Diego creative studio (Purr8Studio), poetry, dream-inspired stories, original voices, digital production, and the expressive meows of an orange tabby are becoming music, children’s stories, visual art, and community experiences.

The artists behind this unusual body of work are U.S. Navy veteran Daisy Melchizedek and U.S. Air Force veteran Seth Melchizedek. Together, they create as Luna Dais, a San Diego-based creative collective and the primary artist project of Purr8Studio.

Their work spans original music, children’s audio stories, visual storytelling, participatory art, and a growing imaginative universe known as the Purrniverse. At its center is Master Jericho, the couple’s orange tabby, whose authentic vocal expressions have found their way into recordings and stories alongside the artists’ own voices.

Although the project is playful, its purpose is serious: to explore how creativity can bring people together, help veterans establish new forms of service, and make artistic production more accessible through emerging technology.

The Meaning of Luna Dais

The name Luna Dais is poetically understood by its creators as “Altar of the Moon.”

It describes an imaginative meeting place where dreams, poetry, music, memory, and consciousness can be explored. The name also reflects the balance of the couple’s collaboration: personal source material is transformed into creative work intended for a wider audience.

Daisy’s archive of poetry, prose, and reflective writing has inspired lyrics, spoken-word pieces, songs, and musical narratives. Seth’s dream-inspired material has contributed characters, settings, and story concepts across several projects.

Their growing catalog includes albums and works such as DreamScape, Whispers of Avalon, Soul Journey, I Choose You, and The Golden Age, etc. While the projects vary in style, they share an interest in imagination, inner life, human connection, and the possibility of creating something meaningful after major life transitions.

A New Expression of Service

Military experience shaped Daisy and Seth in different ways, but both eventually found renewed purpose through creativity.

Daisy’s artistic practice developed through poetry, prose, visual imagery, music, and community gatherings. Seth draws inspiration from dreams, symbols, imagined places, and narrative fragments collected over many years.

Their creative partnership brings these different sources together. Daisy often begins with written language, reflection, and visual concepts. Seth frequently contributes dream-inspired narratives, characters, and symbolic worlds. Together, they develop the material through voice recordings, musical arrangement, editing, storytelling, and shared artistic direction.

For the couple, this work represents a continuation of service through different means—creating opportunities for imagination, participation, and connection.

Luna Dais does not present art or music as a substitute for healthcare or professional support. Instead, its work focuses on the widely shared human value of creative expression: making something, exchanging stories, learning through play, and connecting with others.

Expanding the Veteran Story

Veterans are often portrayed primarily through stories of deployment, sacrifice, injury, or difficult transitions. Those experiences deserve recognition, but they do not encompass the full range of veteran life.

Veterans also become musicians, poets, educators, designers, parents, storytellers, technologists, and community artists.

Luna Dais offers one example of that wider story. Daisy and Seth’s work is not framed as a perfect transformation or a completed journey. It is an evolving creative practice built through experimentation, partnership, and engagement with the community.

Their story suggests that service can continue in many forms: sharing music, preserving stories, creating welcoming spaces, supporting intergenerational learning, or placing art materials on a table and inviting people to make something together.

Master Jericho is more than the collective’s mascot. Within the Purrniverse, he appears as a character, narrator, teacher, and playful ambassador.

His presence helps the work speak to both children and adults. The stories allow wisdom to arrive through unexpected forms: a dream, a song, a child’s question, a cosmic traveler—or a carefully timed meow.

Luna Dais playfully calls one part of its fictional world “CAGI,” or Cat Artificial General Intelligence. CAGI is not presented as a scientific or technological claim. It is a humorous storytelling concept used to imagine collaboration among human creativity, feline expression, sound, memory, and generative tools.

Even during difficult days, he could somehow make people laugh simply by:

There are moments in life when we feel called to slow down, reconnect, and create space for something deeper — something intentional, creative, healing, and sacred.

Altar Your Life was created as an invitation into that space.

This ongoing experiential class series guides participants through the sacred cycles of the moon using altar creation, ritual practice, archetype exploration, creativity, and intentional living. Inspired by the 13 Meow Archetype Journey Cards, each class centers around a different moon phase and energetic theme, offering participants a grounded yet imaginative pathway into self-discovery and sacred living.

Why “Altar Your Life”?

The name Altar Your Life carries a double meaning.

To alter your life is to transform it.
To altar your life is to make it sacred.

This class invites participants to do both.

Through moon wisdom, archetype exploration, crystals, herbs, symbols, ritual tools, and creative self-reflection, students are guided to transform ordinary moments into meaningful rituals and everyday life into a living altar.

At its heart, Altar Your Life offers a creative and accessible pathway into:

• Ritual practice

• Sacred self-care

• Emotional reflection

• Spiritual creativity

• Community connection

• Intentional living

By working with moon cycles and archetypal energies, participants are encouraged to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate more mindfulness, beauty, meaning, and presence in their daily lives.

Together, these elements create a guided container for reflection, creativity, emotional alignment, and personal transformation.

In collaboration with VetArt.org, the project hosted an interactive Meow Art Cafe experience as part of a large public community gathering attended by more than 10,000 participants.

The installation provided accessible, participatory creative engagement for diverse audiences, including veterans, families, youth, and community members of all ages.

4, Spring Awakening 2026 (April 17–18, 2026)

In collaboration with the Psychedelic Institute of Los Angeles, the project facilitated community-based creative experiences for more than 1,000 participants.

Programming integrated participatory art-making with themes of reflection, emotional connection, creativity, and expanded awareness.

During this event, one participant sat down at the Meow Art Table to paint a mandala and shared that he had not painted since childhood. Afterward, he reflected that the simple creative experience helped him reconnect with himself in a way he had not experienced through other forms of support.

This moment became an important example of how accessible, low-pressure creative environments can support memory, self-reflection, and emotional reconnection.

The project was adapted for use within a hospice care setting, where participants engaged in gentle art-making activities involving cat imagery, symbolic drawing, and mandala creation accompanied by calming music from the “Jericho World” playlist by Luna Dais.

During Seth’s mother’s final days in hospice, Daisy and Seth painted quietly beside her bed. In one of those moments, she expressed that the act of painting helped her feel better, even though she could not fully explain why. This experience revealed the potential of art-making to provide comfort, emotional presence, and nonverbal connection in deeply tender care settings.

Despite sensory and physical limitations, participants — including elderly individuals — demonstrated meaningful engagement through creative interaction and non-verbal expression.

This experience demonstrated the project’s adaptability and potential value within:

• healthcare environments

• elder care settings

• hospice programs

• emotionally supportive community spaces

Observed outcomes included:

• emotional comfort

• relaxation

• social engagement

• reflective participation

2026 → 2009

Seventeen years ago, during my first Saturn return, I received a vision of a future Shambhala community — a beautiful collective space where people could freely share their gifts, creativity, healing, and unique talents with one another. That vision eventually guided me to the United States.

Ten years ago, following an inner calling to experience a bigger world and meet people from many walks of life, I joined the military and was fortunate to be stationed in the beautiful golden city of San Diego. Like a daisy flower carried by the wind, I happily planted my roots here.

Although I was injured during bootcamp training, the journey that followed unexpectedly opened many doors of healing, growth, creativity, and human connection. Through the support of compassionate friends, mentors, programs, and community, I was introduced to countless forms of recreational therapy and healing experiences:
painting, writing, music, dance, cooking, kayaking, sailing, skydiving, horseback riding, breathwork, golf, tennis, surfing, hiking, rock climbing, and many others.

Through these experiences, I witnessed how creativity, play, movement, and community could profoundly support emotional healing, belonging, and transformation.

During the pandemic, my path gradually shifted from in-person healing spaces into online communities and spiritual gatherings. I consciously sought out aligned teachers, healing circles, women’s groups, sacred arts communities, and spiritual mentors. Each one deeply shaped my inner growth and understanding of relational healing and collective creativity.

Three years ago, I met my beloved husband Seth in a community gathering — alongside our orange tabby companion and feline “overlord,” Jericho. Since then, the three of us have been walking a shared path of creativity, healing, imagination, and community-building together throughout San Diego and Southern California.

From Escondido to Ramona, Orange County to Los Angeles, we found soulful gatherings, beautiful communities, and kindred spirits everywhere we went. Each step of the journey became filled with nourishing memories, creativity, laughter, synchronicity, and shared wonder.

Over time, these experiences slowly evolved into what is now becoming:

✨ storytelling, music, healing-centered creativity, and relational community experiences

What began as a personal healing journey gradually transformed into a vision for creating welcoming spaces where people can reconnect with imagination, creativity, emotional connection, wonder, and the “Divine Child” within themselves and one another.

You’re warmly invited to join us on May 27th at 12 PM Pacific Time for a special 13 Moon Mystery School Community Luminaries Interview, hosted by Ariel Spilsbury, featuring artist, storyteller, and creator Daisy Ting Du, alongside her beloved Seth Melchizedek.

Together, Daisy and Seth will share the evolving vision behind Purrniverse and Meow Meow Magic Art—a playful, heart-centered creative world where art, music, storytelling, symbolism, and community engagement become portals back to imagination, healing, and the inner child.

Through interactive community art tables and multisensory experiences, their work invites people of all ages to reconnect with the simple joy of making, sharing, and remembering the wonder that lives within.

What began as small moments of shared creativity slowly revealed something much deeper.

During Seth’s mother’s final days in hospice, Daisy and Seth sat beside her bed, quietly painting together. In one of those tender moments, Mom softly shared:

“Others don’t understand it, but I felt so much better… they don’t understand. I don’t understand either, but when you are painting, I felt so much better.”

At another Meow Meow Art Table during Spring Awakening, a young man, named Hadi sat down to paint a mandala and shared that he had not painted since he was 12 years old. Afterward, he reflected that no therapy had helped him reconnect with himself in quite the same way as that simple creative experience.

These moments became part of the living foundation of what Purrniverse and Meow Meow Magic Art are becoming today: a community-centered interactive art experience rooted in creativity, imagination, reflection, emotional connection, and everyday wonder.

Through community art tables, immersive events, collaborative workshops, healing-centered gatherings, and public creative activations, Daisy’s work invites people of all ages to rediscover that creativity can be:

🌙 Inspired by the 13 Moon Mystery School Lineage

Much of this creative vision has been deeply inspired by the magical creativity, sacred imagination, and community-centered spirit of the Sanctuary of the 13 Moon Mystery School and beloved teacher Ariel Spilsbury.

Daisy has been a sister within the 13 Moon lineage for many years, participating in Moon Temple spaces and carrying forward the spirit of cyclical living, sacred creativity, feminine wisdom, storytelling, and relational community into her own evolving artistic work.

This path has helped inspire a vision where creativity becomes:
